Tailored to the specific needs of their organization, participants will learn how to develop and implement cyber security & risk management strategies and policies.
After attending this master class, compliant with the EU e-Competence framework and with the EU e-Leadership program, you will have further developed different valuable skills as a CISO:
Develop, implement and manage information security and risk management strategies and policies tailored
to the specific needs of the organization.
Develop an architecture with associated technology and processes, embedding them in related corporate frameworks, in order to guarantee good corporate governance.
Raise organization-wide awareness in terms of information vulnerabilities. Calculate the economical impact and decide on action oriented information security measures.
Collaborate constructively with financial experts and business leaders in order to harmonize policies, operational activities and IT security aspects and associated decisions to gain a better return on security investments (ROSI).
A lot of strategic cyber security decisions get impacted by Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt (FUD) these days. Although this might be effective in the short term, in the long term it won't be. In this blog, prof. dr. Yuri Bobbert gives some recommendations for the Digital Security Leader to tackle the challenges ahead!
The Master Class Cyber Security Management provides participants with insights into the most important aspects of information security management, compliant with the EU e-Competency Framework, and in particular related to leading and managing organizational information security activities.
